New idea:
Every time you get a spam message on Tumblr, send someone you follow and/or appreciate a note. That way, you at least counteract the depressing “YAY A MESSA—oh” reaction for someone else.
It’s like pay it forward, but inversely proportionate.
Don’t go sending spam when you get a real message though, literalists.
